Procurement professionals dedicate themselves – in some cases for their whole lives – to the careful stewardship of taxpayer dollars. Our shared purpose has yielded an incredible community.

And in the wake of new challenges – from more complex procurements, to supply chain disruptions, to meeting lofty MWBE spend goals, and more – that community is our greatest resource.

Procurated – the leading platform for public buyers to share ratings and reviews of suppliers – is facilitating access to peer-insights. But it is only as powerful as we – the Public Procurement community – make it. That’s why I am excited to chair this Community Leadership Forum. I believe that together we can foster this community and create a vast repository of peer insights that transforms how we buy. I hope you’ll join me.

What is a Procurated Community Leader

Procurated Community Leaders believe that a shared resource - where public sector and education institution buyers can access reviews of suppliers exclusively from trusted peers – can be transformative. That such a resource will save buyers time and money, will boost access to local and diverse suppliers, and will further cement the strategic role that procurement plays in the running of our governments and institutions of higher education.

Community Leaders are:

  • Purchasers - They make (or have made) purchases on behalf of a government or education institution.
  • Believers - They believe that access to peer reviews of suppliers will improve procurement decision making. They recognize that their experience with a supplier is of incredible value to the broader procurement community.
  • Messengers - They are willing to tell their colleagues and other members of the Procurement community about Procurated and the benefits of incorporating supplier ratings and reviews into procurement processes.
  • Helpers - They are open to helping colleagues and community members who see the benefits of using peer reviews, but aren't quite sure where to start
